PSP Media Manager is software for the PC that lets PSP owners easily move content from their personal computer to their PSP (PlayStation Portable) system and vice versa. With PSP Media Manager software, you can transfer videos, music, and still images, all via a USB-cable connecting their PSP system to a personal computer.
This application provides quick navigation and thumbnail previews to easily identify photos and videos to move from the PC to PSP system,it even lets you select different quality settings for the transferred media. It supports most common video and audio formats, and it also gets simple to locate and subscribe to a variety of RSS feeds like pod casts, video blogs, and PSP-formatted magazines which automatically updates to the PSP device.
After you connect your PSP you are asked to give it a name, the program will allow its user to integrate media from the PC to the PSP seamlessly.
Some supported video file formats by the Media Manager are: mp4, avi, wmv, mov, dv, mpg, mpeg, mpeg1, mpeg2, 3gp, etc. One minute of video will take approximately 3.5 MB when using the Low AVC setting or 6.6 MB when using the High AVC setting.
PSP only supports mp4, mp3 and Atrac; so you can setup an auto convert profile to convert your songs to MP3s on transfer. Some music supported formats by the Media Manager are: mp3, wma, wav, pca, ogg, m4a, aac and mp4 audio.
Also this application supports images that are formatted as jpg, jpeg, jpe, jfif, png, gif, bmp, dib, tiff or tif. It can be setup to transfer these over as is, or do the conversion to jpg.
Sony PSP Media Manager requires Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1+, which can be downloaded and installed via a prompted link during the installation setup, if missing.
